Is this the same team that lost all of the big games as of late? Didn't USC beat them twice? Didn't they recruit a QB who is supposed to be the "next" Vince Young? Is this the same team who lost to Texas in last year's Fiesta Bowl? My answer to all of these questions are YES! The team I am talking about is THE Ohio State Buckeyes . The Bucks beat the Oregon Ducks in the Rose Bowl 26-17 and this time Oregon RB LeGarret Blount didn't connect on any punches after the game. All the so-called experts picked the Ducks based off Ohio State's recent past in BCS games and the high octane offense that Oregon possessed. Well they were WRONG! Ohio State was led by its stellar defense and quarterback Terelle Pryor who played his best game as a young Buckeye totaling 338 yards throwing and running along with 2TD's. Pryor picked the perfect time to play his best game. The whole world saw what Pryor and the young buckeyes can be capable of. Pryor displayed throwing ability that he lacked during the regular season. The student-athletes were on Christmas break enjoying time off from their studies, but Pryor attended class everyday over break. The way Pryor played in the Rose Bowl it looked like Pryor attended quarterback 101 and passed his first exam with flying colors. The Buckeyes are filled with underclassmen on their roster, and with another Tressel like recruiting class the future looks bright. 2011 National Champions may be another thing you can add to Pryor's resume along with Rose Bowl MVP. I know coaches around the country are chugging Budweiser's because the Bucks are back!!
